Step-by-Step Guide :
Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace
Lay down a newspaper or cloth to protect your surface.
Set out the map board, paint pots, water cup, and tissues.
Step 2: Understand the Map Layout
Identify each state/UT engraved on the MDF board.
Decide whether to paint each state differently or use a theme (e.g., regions or zones in similar colors).
Step 3: Choose Your Color Scheme
Plan your colors using the paint pots included (refer to the lids).
Suggested themes:
Rainbow Style: Use distinct colors for each state.
Zonal Colors: North = blue, South = green, East = yellow, etc.
Traditional Look: Earthy browns, oranges, and greens.
Step 4: Start Painting
Use a fine brush for borders and state names (if you want to avoid painting over them).
Begin with lighter colors and move to darker ones to avoid smudging.
Let one area dry before moving to an adjacent one.
✅ Tips:
Dip the brush lightly into water before painting.
Clean brush between colors using water and tissue.
Step 5: Paint Small Islands Separately
Carefully paint:
Lakshadweep Islands (bottom left)
Andaman & Nicobar Islands (bottom right)
Step 6: Add Final Details (Optional)
You may outline states with a black pen or fine brush for sharpness.
Use white or gold paint for state names for better visibility.
Step 7: Dry the Map
Let the painted map dry for 1–2 hours (or more, depending on paint thickness).
Step 8: Display / Assemble
You can mount the board on a wall, frame it, or place it on a stand.
